Day 2 started with having breakfast with some Chinese tourists who filled their purses with food at the buffet and got reamed out by the cranky Italian hostess. It was entertaining. With our bellies full and an umbrella in hand we lined up for the Vatican (picture below-thousands of umbrella…so pretty). Three hours later, we filed through the museum corridors that were packed with thousands of people. Next was St. Peter's Bascilica, the Spanish Steps, more fountains, monuments and food! We chased a few pigeons in Piazza San Pietro. The Pope didn't come out to say "Hi" that day. These last few pics are of our hotel.
